The green F-150 didn't match the Lund so today I purchased a 2015 GMC 1500 Sierra SLT 4x4 in black. The dealer located one and will head out tomorrow for it so in a few days I should get it. The whole rig should look pretty good together heading down the road. I will put a black cap on the back for equipment protection, daughter says they look like an old man's truck.......:bag: well the 20" rims make it cool whatever age you are :ibtl: I drove a Ram hemi today also, WOW lots of power and sound, just didn't care for the harder ride and interior isn't quite as nice as the GMC. Price was just about the same. Dodge has come a long way, decision was close.

I probably would have picked the Dodge probably because I've owned several mopar products
including a Ram with a Hemi, and had zero problems with any of them.

Thanks! The Ram was fun to drive with the hemi but the mpg showed 13 and that's what I get now. The Ram has the best exhaust sound by far and had I been a bit younger probably would have tried one. I wanted to keep my foot on the pedal which was a bad sign!!! :lol: I'll post a picture of the GMC when it gets home.

well the truck came in and had different wheels on it, after driving it I decided to pass on it. The dealer really tried to earn my business but just wasn't much more than what I'm driving now. The GM 1500 trucks only have a 26 gal fuel tank. If you go into a 2500 chevy you get the bigger tank. Something just told me to walk away and start over.......:ranting

that's to bad HM gotta say sometimes I wish my avalanche had a smaller tank really hits hard sometimes filling that 31 gallon tank but LOVE the truck

The other thing is the fuel millage is barely better than my truck at 14 & 18 these numbers are from the salesman's own truck. Spent most of the night re-building trucks on line and still don't have any answers this morning. When I drove home last night my first thought was my truck has everything in it I want......
