Just got a 3-9 conquest for my savage 3006.Man i know 399 aint cheap but the glass on this scope for that money is fantastic.I have two leupold vx-3 and the zeiss glass is way better.While i hesitate to call 399 cheap for the money its the best scope ive seen.

Nice purchess
I have a 26 year old Zeiss 4x32 that I like very much, it has only one problem that there is not enough allowance for ring spacing. Your Zeiss is nice and clear and they learned and made the tube longer. I had heard at the gunshop earlier this year that Zeiss was going to push for more exposure and hold the price down <400 for their 3x9x40. They still charge a lot more for the other offerings. Please report if you have any issues I will bet that you won't have any problems.

keeping it under $400 zeiss is going after more of a share of the american market,i only wish i could send my leupolds back.
