White acorns

My plans for October are to hunt does exclusively, I have seen a lot of white acorn sprays and attractants lately and feel these may add an advantage in bringing in more does. anyone have any experiences with any of these types of products? or is the acorn craze just that, a new marketing gimmick?

I don't use scented cover up sprays, never tried them to be honest. I am for the first time putting down a couple of protein supplement stations as I couldn't get to PA this spring for food plot maintenance/planting. I will report on the deer activity/use of these products in mid November. My plan is to put them in an a safety zone type area where hunters can't get through like mountain laural thickets and where the deer travel. We'll see. Might be just wasted $$?

I know, it would be great if there were some standing white oaks in my sit. but there aint. and the funnel I am in gets too much deer traffic to think about moving. I would just like to increase it as much as posible.
