He has been wanting one of these for a long time. I did some research, I assume IR is best, but not sure about how many pictures it takes and things like that, I want one that takes an SD card which I am sure most do. I heard Moultrie is best, but all of the reviews I read say they stop working after a few months

So post up what you have and your experiences, and how much you paid (I want to try to stay under $350)

Thanks!

i have 1 stealth flash takes a cf card and is ok but..... around $260 for the kit cable lock, 4 moultries flash work well but i've heard the same thing about giving up after a time. around $100 , 1 remington ghost IR don't like it at all gave up quick won't keep time and the pics are hit and miss about 50/50 $100 i think, and 3 covert II IR very small, takes great pics, great video, runs on 4 or 8 AA bateries, 8 batteries will last for months. $250 plus i got the bear box, $30, so i can lock it to the tree. I won't get anything else..........well till somthing better comes along.

I know guys that have gotten the new cuddieback and sent them back cause they quit working right only after a week or so.

all but the stealth take a sd card

Anway check out the Covert II

Yea I read the review on a website for the covert, the only thing it said was the flash range could be a bit longer but that was the only con, and the quality of night pictures was bad, but I have no clue where he would put it or how far it would need to take pictures. Is there a step above the one you have that might be a bit better?
