Wet First Day
1st day of Ohio gun season was today............it poured! No one was out and nothing moving in the a.m. I did manage to tag a doe this afternoon and use my early doe tag (which runs out on Sat.) Another in our group took a respectable 8 pt. on the same hunt, so all in all it could have been worse. There'll be meat in the freezer. I have to go back to work in the morning but will be back in the woods first thing Friday

Doe is in the freezer, just enjoyed the first pound of italian sausage from her (awsome!). The work week ended today at 5:30 p.m. and I'm headed out in the morning to try to tie my next tag on set of horns. The weather has gotten better so I hope the hunting has too.
