Hey guys, just wanted to run a few things by you and see what you got. Now that the rut activity has picked up significantly, the deer in my area are off their normal patterns, and come from anywhere at any time, my question would have to be, what scent techniques do you use to attract let’s say a buck cruising for does. I have used drag lines with sucess but would like your input on mock scrape set ups, scent wicks, and other ideas you may have on how I could get a bucks attention... I have considered using a decoy but the deer I see usually come within 60-70 yards, i just need that little distraction to spark curiosity and take some attention off me, and bring them just a little closer for a high percentage shot.
