I've seen a show on the outdoor channel where a hunter used this blade called the "guillotine" and it popped the birds head right clean off. And I mean right clean off very quickly.

guillotines are great for up close. you loose a lot of yardage with them though. if you do hunt with them you might want to pack the shot gun too so if he wont come on in close enough you can put him down with it.
