i hate em, i hate em, i hate em. i had one repetedly try to come down a branch that ended right by my head. on 2 seperate times wile hunting this am. its like he wanted to die. i spent more time swating at him that i did focusing on watching for deer. i did not want him on me, but did not want to blast him ether.

I have been tempted in the past to take my bow so I could shoot these dudes in a quiet way.

Ive never had one be consistently on my nerves like you have though. I probably would have ended up blasting him with a 30-06 if he kept on doing that to me.

go to Lowes and get a 5' piece of 1/2" aluminum tube in the electrical conduit aisle. Then get some bamboo skewers, X-acto #11s and some paper and glue, and youtube "how to make blowgun darts".

With some practice you can get pretty accurate up to 10 yards or so and an x-acto dart will kill a squirrel (speaking from experience).

:shocking: Thats great catman. Ive never thought of a blowgun for squirrels. Would work very quiet.

Sorry fellas, can't help you here... I guess our squirrels here in MO are of a different breed. They won't come close to you here, they act as though they're fearful of humans.
