i am located along the shoreline in CT. and there is another problem, the does rarely come by during the day. They come by EVERY night multiple times, along with other smaller bucks, but their patterning just seems that they only come by at night. Occasionally they come by during the morning or just before sunset, but that is it. I guess i will just have to hope, wait and pray for him to slip up and either randomly come by, or come by earlier in the night before sunset following those does.

find out where they are going to and coming from and go there to hunt.

i'd say low teens on the score. if he were an eight he'd be in the high teens

i would go to where they are during the day, but i am surrounded by private property, so hunting elsewhere in the area is not much of an option. I guess im just gonna sit in the woods as much as i can and hope he slips up. Not much else i can do. However my dad and i (i am 16) are planning on splitting hunting areas so that one of us hunts here while the other hunts another piece of property. I have killed deer on both pieces of land so they have both been reliable. Thanks for the guesses on scoring.... I was hoping he would be a little more lol but worst comes to worst i dont get him this year and i have to kill him next year when he is bigger. haha

we have considered it. but considering we dont know them too well, and they have security cameras and a big iron gate with a keypad across their driveway, it just gives off a kind of stay away message . but who knows, they seem nice enough. maybe we will ask.
