I have owned a Tikka T3 Lite Stainless/Synthetic for the last 3 years, and it is a GREAT rifle in every respect! I have been shooting rifles for over 50 years and have owned many. The Tikka is, by far, the most accurate right out of the box. It is guaranteed by the manufacturer to shoot three shot, 1 inch groups @ 100 yards and it does this consistently - and with different ammo. The trigger pull is light, smooth and clean. The single stack magazine feels like glass when you work the action to chamber a round - almost like there is no cartridge in the magazine. This rifle is very light and easy to carry. It comes with rings that fit right on the receiver, but it is also tapped if you want to use a different mounting system. This rifle is exceptionally well-made. I believe that the machining tolerances on this gun are extremely small. You simply can not find a better one for the money or even for a lot more money! Everyone who owns one pretty much says the same thing. Buy one. (Sorry, but I have no first-hand knowledge of the Browning.)
