Wow! What kind of dogs are you using? Your going to have to make a little extra room in the freezer. You said this weekend with your dogs and knife? Did you take this hog with a knife? If so, How did you get close enough?

X2 I agree we have some here but far & few between escapees from a local preserve (true russian boar) state says there are some breeding outside the park would love to hunt them but I know the outcomeim gona hate to see the day they make it to me

if yall have a few between escapees from a local preserve yall better start shootin now and dont let up.If not yall will be over run like we or down here.They will affect the deer in a big way also millions of $$$$ in damage to property,crops,equiptment,etc. and the way they breed if ya wait to long it will be over. Very nice hog. I am still hoping these jokers never make it to my woods. Cant stand the damage they cause to land and deer hunting.

anything really. a friend of mine tears them up with his AR using fusion 223 ammo with mostly one shot kills. On one pieace of property hes has taken close to 150 hogs in less than 2 yearsWhat is a good caliber for hog hunting?

Federal Fusion in .223 and my ARs are a deadly combo for the hogs down here.. Usually one shot kills.What is a good caliber for hog hunting?
