Yesterday at 7:50 am I had the largest whitetail deer I have ever had within bow range, walk 20 yards from my stand and turn broad side. I drew back and let him have it, only he did not get it in my buck fevered state I must have aimed with the wrong pin and sent my arrow three inchs over his back. Now here is a question for any one who may have had this same thing happen to them, do I keep my stand where it is hoping for another chance or will the mature buck learn his lesson and never visit this location again?
