Yesterday at 7:50 am I had the largest whitetail deer I have ever had within bow range, walk 20 yards from my stand and turn broad side. I drew back and let him have it, only he did not get it in my buck fevered state I must have aimed with the wrong pin and sent my arrow three inchs over his back. Now here is a question for any one who may have had this same thing happen to them, do I keep my stand where it is hoping for another chance or will the mature buck learn his lesson and never visit this location again?

i had the same question earlier, what i got from it was that it will but not righ away and it wil be cautious. I would say not to move ur stand this late bc it might disturb the area with the change, but if you already have another stand put up maybe try that.

I agree with burgerking. As long as the buck never looked up at you and made your shape with the wind in your favor you ought to be alright. It's probably just like a tree branch falling close to the deer. That probably happens alot in the woods. GOOD LUCK.

I Would Agree With Them. If You Were Not Spoted You Should Be All Right. I Have Seen Guys Miss A Nice Buck And In The Same Stand The Next Day Get Another Shot At Him. Good Luck And Next Time Take Your Time And Be Sure Which Pin Your Looking At.

just got to search my friend.. start right behind the target and work your way back. alot of times the only part of the arrow you may see is the nock.. look close and take your time.

Ya know what's worse than losing them?
