I don't know how many of you have noticed, but the people that work to produce our fine hunting rifles are putting some nice triggers on them again. I was born in the late 50s and do remember handling/shooting new rifles built in the 60s/70s that had quality triggers. Then the lawyers got all the companies to put triggers on them that were in the 6-8 lb pull weight range. Some I think were even higher. Lately I have handled/shot new Savages, Rugers, and Remingtons that were nice right out of the box. I just think that we all owe them a big thank you. The only people that are sad are the aftermarket trigger companies, I am sure they will see a drop in orders.

I agree todays weapons seem to be coming out with a little more focus on design, quality & duability
AND best of all, most are in the affordable range. :w00t:
