The only Tasco scope I own failed recently on my TC Firehawk. I sent it in hoping they would repair it. It seems that Bushnell now owns the Tasco name and wouldn't repair/replace it under warrenty. I did receive a discount offer for a Bushnell purchase.

That surprises me about not honoring the warranty.I also was told they own the Simmons name also.

Hmm. Tasco's are still for sale at walmart. That is kind of crappy to still have product for sale but not honor the warranty

I purchased the scope many yrs ago and Tasco has changed ownership a couple of times. I just thought I had a small chance at repairs...oh well it was a $100.00 World Class scope and thats all I got. I guess that figures somewhere about 6.6-7.5 $/per year of use.

what was the original warrenty period? you may have better luck if you speak t amanager and explain to them how your a loyal customer and a moderator at a deer hunting forum with a large following they may do it just to avoid bad press:whistling:
