For me this day is painful. My wife lost her best friend on flight 11 that fateful day. She was a flight attentent that actually called in the seat assignments of the 4 terrorists on board. She left behind a husband, two children of 3 and 5 years old when it happened. I actually met my wife through her. She was in our wedding and I was blessed to know her. She was a really good person who died with many others for reasons only terrorists can understand.
Our prayers are always with you Amy and we miss you very much.
Man what a tribute! Several times I wanted to stop it, its painfull. The nation was rocked at home that day, and I wonder if the attackers and their backers really were punished. I hope we got it right. I pray for the families and innocent victims caught in the wrong place that day. It will always be necessary to be a strong nation backed by the men & women in all uniforms protecting our freedom!
I had my kids watch that tribute video and we had a little talk about what happened and why. They've been kind of up to date on the historics for a couple years now. 911 was one of those times in which you remember exactly where you were and what you were doing. It's cool that we're all here on this site from all across the country and other places too, yet we are all kind of united in a way through the outdoors and it's wildlife. As for being an American, I'd back up any one of you guys and gals any time, anywhere:boxing::wink:
