I've been "Stuck in Iraq" as John Kerry so aptly put it since the 1st of December last year and am missing out on hunting season in Texas, Lampasas Texas to be exact. Hunting season has already opened and I'm not there - but not for long. Can't wait for another 12 days or so! I'll be home and able to enjoy my favorite pasttime - hunting!

well its been more than 12 days so you ought to be back from iraq. you got to hunt any yet??? give me a pic if you did. words are useless when you got a picture.

We Got One - A Good'n Too!

Thank you all for your prayers. I'm home safe and sound and have had a chance to do a little hunting. It doesn't matter to me if my son bagged the 8 pointer, the important thing was that I was there with him when it happened. Pic is posted under "Junior Sportsmen".
