Squirrel Skinning

Seen many different methods over the years. I plan on taking my boy squirrel hunting this spring for our local greys (tiny things, more like rats with tails. No where near the meat of an eastern bushytail) and want to provide him some methods for skinning out his harvest.

What's your favorite method of skinning squirrels?

I do not enjoy skinning out squirrels - hides are attached with superglue :)I cut across the center of the back, perpindicular to the spine clear around the belly and pull both sides against each other. I gut them after there skinned. Ths sooner you skin the better.

I haven't skinned a Squirrel in years but this video pretty much covers the same way I would do it. the skin on them lil rodents is tough, tough, tough, be sure to use a sharp knife. Good Luck
