aint really no farmer but have found out that in planting a food plot that the young foliage or knew growth seems to work a lot better than an established plot of say fescue. I hunt over a 1/3 acre of established orchid grass, fescue and ladino clover with a fall planting of young red top clover. World of difference in the two plots.
