Please take pity on me my friends. You see I am a great deer hunting ethusiast though I have never shot a deer. Today I saw a huge ten pointer walk out of the woods in front of me and begin to graze. But the deer was just out of range for me and my 12 guage. If the deer would have moved up another five yards I would have been able to claim my first deer and a magnificent one at that. Oh the horror.:crybaby: Can't hold back the tears any longer :crybaby:

Sorry to hear that man. Listen to this though, I've only seen one tiny 8 pt. and a handful of spikes and 4 pts. and many does but nothing that fits the shooter category. I've been at it since early october and it's been pretty tough. Hopefully that 10 pt. will get a little closer for you to get a shot off. I hope you get him. GOOD LUCK.

Good for you for knowing the limit of your weapon and not stretching. That's the mark of a true hunter more so than a head on the wall. Well done. Stick with it, you'll get him.

But then...
Opinions vary...
And that's just mine...

:goodposting: i agree .hopefully your patience will be rewarded. My advice would be to set up closer to the area, not too close just close the gap and wait .He may be back he may keep on walking or get get shot by someone else.since ya didnt shoot and spook the pellets out of him he'll probably stick around
