smitrock peep sites

Has anyone out there heard about these new ultra light weight peep sites from Smitrock Archery? A friend of mine just threaded one up and likes it; says it's supposed to be fast but I don't know how a peep site really makes your arrow faster. Anyway, was just wanting user input, but I guess it's a new product; I've not heard much about them.
