I recently inherited an Ithaca featherweight semi-auto 12 ga. from my father in law. This is one of his favorite shotguns and as his son in law I am happy to be receiving it. However as with most older type shotguns it has a fixed mod. choke. I was thinking of having the barrel modified so I would be able to use screw in type chokes. Has anybody had this done? What are your thoughts on doing this to an older shotgun?
I haven't had it done but I have an old Remington Wingmaster barrel with a fixed full choke which I would like to get the barrel threaded to accept screw in chokes.
Single Barrel Flush Mount Installation (12 and 20 GA)
Includes three flush mounted chokes and 2 wrenches $125.00
Single Barrel Extended Choke Installation (12 GA & 20 GA)
Includes three extended chokes and 2 wrenches $145.00
