The test plot in the back yard is now about 6-7 inches tall a blend of rye, chickory, clover. Can't wait to see the small plots the son planted in PA. If these prove to grow well then next year everything will be planted with the stuff. Wrong title on post should read Throw and Grow by Evolved Harvest.

In the winter like early February deer will roam from the state park into the neighborhood looking for landscape treats. Normally no deer will find my backyard.

Tractor supply here in Toledo has it as well as Bass Pro. I'll look in the catalog.... Evolved Harvest Throw and Grow. They also have many other seed mixtures. I thought the seed we tried was called shot plot which they make but was mistaken. If this grows in PA's poor soil I'd plant everything with it as it germinated in a couple of days and is growing fast.

The throw & grog stuff is still going well, now 8-10" high. Also got some good news from PA, seems like a fair amount of clover made it in one of the plots and the owner is seeing deer using it. The deer report is not seeing very many deer which is the trend from last year, but the bear population is high as there is at least 4-5 bear right around our camp.
