I shoot the 200 grain 45 cal Hornady Sabots and they look remarkably like the Shockwaves. Are the Shockwaves made by Hornady?

Ive read that somewhere before that they were.. Cant remember where and cant verify though. Both those bullets are very accurate..
actually shockwaves are made by thompson center and are very accurate so are hornady sst s . But my triumph really likes barnes expander spit-fire tmz boat tailed copper expanders not that cheap but super accurate. i dropped a coyote at 200 yrds with them this yr. give em a try if you can get them. p.s 250 grain . lol
Shockwave Maker

Actually, I read somewhere that the Shockwaves are made by Barnes. TC had input into their development but Barnes manufactures the bullets and TC makes the sabots. They are then packaged and sold as the Shockwaves.:w00t:
The Shockwave bullets are made by Hornady. They are called Super Shock Tip bullets by Hornady and they are sold on the market. There are a couple Shockwave bullets that peculiar to TC that are not marketed by Hornady: One of these is the 250 grain Bonded Shockwave.

i've used the SST/Shockwave bullets for years on deer and wild hogs. They have done a very good job for me. This guy was killed on 26 November, 2010. He dressed out at 270+ pounds and was 19" through the shoulders.
