Nice...Are those pics taken as they were found? I have never found a set so close together as those spikes. Thanks for posting pics, I have found a couple so far too.

My whole family is big on shed hunting. And yes we always take pictures of our sheds before we touch them. This year we have been lucky on finding those small sheds.FINDING THAT SET OF SPIKES WAS SOMETHING ELSE. There so hard to find. Here are some more from this year. Including our sets.

yeah kinda hard to do with 5' of snow on the ground. plus we don't have the numbers of deer to make it worth ones time.

SEEMS THE CRITTERS FIND EM FIRST AND MOST BUCKS WIND UP HANGING FROM POLES ANYWAY oopps caps loc sorry:wacko:

Yeah, it seems like about half of the ones I pick up have some kind of chew marks on them...still cool to pick up and imagine what the deer will look like next year. Good topic, and maybe someone will find a really impressive set this year and post em up.:photo:

My step-dad went on a hunting trip in Feb. and found a Axis Shed (the smallest axis antler) the other ones my mom and he found about 2 yrs ago...(the smallest of them is a whitetail)

Went out today to our hunting property. Found our first shed on the property and a made a bad discovery as well. One of our up and comers is dead!! (nice 4 point) At first I seen the twine in his horns but as I got close I relized it was the reason of his death! He had a loop of it around his neck......:sad:
