This is a message of thanks for thinking of our troops overseas . . . from one who's been there. Just knowing that there are folks back home thinking and praying for you makes all the difference in the world.
I live near Fort Hood, TX and I saw one of the planes carrying troops home from deployment on the way to church yesterday morning. To me, it was a nice gesture, getting the troops home so they could spend the holidays with family, especially after what they've been through.
So keep up the cards and letters, in any fashion that y'all can think of. Trust me, it does make a difference when you're "over there" to get a card from somewhere back home, even if it's from a complete stranger.
