Any diehard scent dripper advocates out there? I primarily use Active Scrap which has brought in some deer activity. I heard Code Blue was good however the price is no good. The statement, " you get what you pay for" applies alot bu I cannot convince myself that this stuff is worth it.

I usually set out my drippers in Nov but would like to set them out in mid Oct and give it a try. Would Trails End 307 or intergital be a good choice.

i use em too i like to make mock scapes with em .i go the whole nine i wear rubber boots and gloves i find a good sapling ,that i can bend in 1/2 i make sure it has a licking branch .I rub it it up with a clean piece of saw blade so it shreds like the bucks do then i scrape with my foot a nice 4' circle.i hang the dripper high enough in the sapling that even if a deer stood on its hind legs it cant reach it.I use active scrape and i also use last years left over scents.i always remove all leaves from the circle.I never catch deer in them but there is always tracks .I use it to attract em to the area and hold em.One of these days i'll get lucky and bust one using it:yes:

never have used the drippers. I do use a couple of different doe in heat scents but only during the peak of the rut. I also will mix in a buck urine. I like to use an antler to make a mock scrape, its easy to dig with and came from the area I'm hunting, probably doesn't make any difference. Those 4-6 days when bucks are running everywhere all day long is when I seem to attract the bucks with the scent use. I like Code Blue products and Golden Estrus by wildlife research.

hi I use nothing but scent drippers I like to find a scrape from preveos year and hang it there. or fresh scrap . I use wildlife active scrape in them, I use my 4 wheeler to get to where I hang the driper . use ruber gloves. pore most of bottle in driper rest on ground . start around holloween. oct 3 shot a nice 8 point with crossbow on scrape . nov 16 shot another nice 8 pointer on scrape at difrent spot with gun . so if used they can be better then bait piles.
