Rifle- trigger pull weight on the new models

I was just shooting at the range today and complaining about the trigger on the Sako I was shooting. I haven't got it in yet to have the trigger pull reduced down to the 3 to 3 1/4 lb that I usually have my rifles set at. Has anyone placed a trigger scale on the new Ruger Hawkeye M77, Remington M700 with x-mark pro trigger, or the new Winchester M70 with the moa trigger. These do feel nice from the factory I was just wondering what they are actually set at. My Sako is almost 20 years old, it is one of the Sako AV bolt carbines. The rifle is basically new but now that my oldest son has claimed my Win M70 Fwt, I have to get used to the Sako. I gave both my sons the choice of which rifles they wanted, the Sako is left for me after my younger son claimed my Ruger No 1 International.

Karl, can't help on the trigger pull, just add a comment though. The only son has claimed my Rem 700 Mountain rifle and my TC Fire Hawk. How that happen is beyond me. Maybe that's why I'm still buying :wallbash:

Have two sons myself. Have one left handed Savage .270 (was mine - now youngest son's) and one right handed Savage .270 (oldest son's), but both are still in my gun safe until they're old enough to get out on their own - and available for personal use until that time. Have a couple other 'toys' to play with, and see nothing wrong with HM above still out there buying more toys. Can never have too many of these kinds of toys around.
karl i was never impressed with the triggers on the remmys or the rugers,i think savage nailed it with production rifles with the accutrigger.i have two kimbers that break at 3pds as well as my savages.that sako has to have some value to it.
Yes the Sako is a fine rifle..

The Sako if I was to sell it is worth more than the other two rifles that I hunt Deer/Elk with. The only problem is that my old Winchester 70 was like a well worn in baseball glove or pair of old hunting boots. The Win is not pretty and I wore off blueing on the bolt from actually shooting the heck out of it. My son has excellent taste in firearms, I am still trying to talk him into taking a BRAND NEW Model 70 Fwt and let me have my old one back. He is thinking about it. He doesn't like the factory fiberglass McMillon stock on my Sako carbine so I can't get him to trade it for the Winchester.

your son does have good taste, the new a7 sako is a fine rifle at a decent price.i think if they advertised a little better this at this price would be my choice over any other production rifle.they flat out shoot.

I bought a Remington 700XCR a year and a half ago that came with the "new" trigger, whatever it was called. The trigger was set at a fuzz over 5lb from the factory. I had it reduced to 3lb before shooting it.
remington trigger

i bought a rem 700 SPS-V in .223 about 3 years ago, with the new accu trigger. it was set around 5lbs. had it dropped to right under 4lbs. its not that im "scared" to go less, i just feel comfortable with that.
