Was checking out Muley's profile and noticed he was retired. How many other are retired and or how many years you got left till you retire?

all depends on the 401-k, 62 would be nice age and that would leave 5 years.

I retired the first time 15 years ago (military) and my plan is to have my second in about 6 yrs from now. My fingers are crossed and my guns are ready for some additional attention....lol.:thumbup:

Like Turner, I'm retired military. Retired the first time 13 years ago. Fortunately, got picked up by a REALLY good company that offered a retirement AND a 401K plan (at the time). Folks who hire on now only get the 401K option. According to the company rules, I can use the "Rule of 76" to retire. Age + years with the company = 76. Using that "simple" equation, I can retire a second time in about 4 1/2 years.

Don't get much retiring that early, but the option to hang it up at any time will always be there.
