I just purchased a Bear "Lights Out" bow. I've been shooting it for about two weeks and am grouping them well. Is it really necessary to paper test your bow?

Congrats on your new bow. I highly reccomend paper testing as the first thing you do once everything is installed on the bow. This just puts your mind at rest knowing all is well fom the start, like the knock point is correct, the rest being properly lined up ect. Most archery shops should have a paper shooting stand. Bass pro shops are a great place to tune your bow at.

yes paper tune it anyway. it can group well but be coming in sideways or something which would mean loss of penetration, plus the piece of mind thing IE confidence
