I am trying to find an older .243 condition can be warn. i want to get my fiance something that she is comfortable shooting but don't want to drop alot of money into it because she only goes 4-5 times a year. i was wanting a .243 mostly because it shots so flat. if some one has something similar i would be interested!!
Hey that's a great deer killer and no kick for a woman or young hunter. I really don't think there is a better caliber for what you're looking for. My son started with a 260 rem it will shoot a slightly heavier bullet. Good luck.
Check with your local dealer about the New England Firearms Handi-rifle. I am getting one for my youth and it runs under $300 new. Black composite with blued barrell. Great deal in all sorts of calibers...
