ok after another thread of reading talk of 15 to 18 inch beards. i starting droolling over the thought of it lol so i thought i would just open up a beard trophy thread. so post um up. and ill kick it off..

i picked 6 of what i feel is my better beards from the way the pic is from the closest to you the fist two are 11 1/4 inches long the next is 11" the on the othe side of the ruler is 10 1/2 then 10 1/4 (with one hair at 10 1/2 lol) and the last at 10" ( and of corse my mesurements are going off of me holding the beards out completly straight the ruler is mearly just for a close refrance for the pic)

I think this one may be my best, but I'm not sure. I don't really measure all of them. I took this pic from a thread I started in this forum.

heres mine.... my son decided to give the mount a little trim!!! he took off about an inch

ok well my son killed his first turkey ever in the 2010 fall season and got two hens, this past spring season (2011) he got his first male bird a Jake. it had a 4" beard and he was tickeled pink about it and hooked for life. always asking when season dates are now:yes: next two are mine one with the feet flipping you off that fan is 30" spread my (biggest fan to date and was my best bird and was 28lbs) the last one was one of the two i got this past season the week before my boy got his, ( same spot,same blind):thumbup:

i asked my cousin two days ago if he could make me a beard board, he showed up yesterday with this !! awesome job, holds 11 beards but i only am going to put 10" and over on this board so without removing beards off fan mounts i already had i only have the 6 i origanly opend this post thread with. it turned out great and asked him if he could go ahead and make me another one then i'll have a board for my 8" to just under 10" beards.
