Ohio ML hunt

Got back today. Hunt went pretty well. Just dropped the son's 18" 7 pt, broken brow, to have mounted. Me, well I started out by missing my first shot at a doe, then missed yesterday at a 7-8 pt, then finally the deer Gods let me take a 3 pt which filled my tag and goal of freezer meat. My buddy Joe missed a doe yesterday morning 5 minutes before I missed the buck. The missed shot at the buck was a long 125 yd shot across a ravine, but standing still between two small trees one of which I hit. Us old guys are having trouble with the eyes!! :ranting:I'm happy to have hunted with the son and both of us score with the ML'ers. :w00t: I'll try to get the nice 7pt pictures up. Weather was cold, +2*, 2" of snow made it nice to see the deer moving. We made it home just in-front of the big snow storm hitting Ohio now.
Going to start cutting everything up tonight. Grind burger tomorrow. I think tonight will be a long night. :thumbdown:

Son just sent me a couple of camera pictures where both bucks were in the picture. Pretty cool even if it was a final curtain call.
