I am not familiar with this scope, but check to see if it has an adjustable objective. If it does have AO, it needs to be adjusted to your eye. Personally, I have had good luck with Tasco and Bushnell. I recently picked up a NRA Sports Optics by Brunton, and the clarity on my scope is great. My brother really likes Redfield and Luepold. A friend of my got a great deal on Zeis, which he says provides the clearest and sharpest images he has ever found in a rifle scope. Sometimes the extra dollars are due to quality, and sometimes it is due to just the name. I think the biggest factors are being fogproof, waterproof and shockproof along with the warranty that is offered from the manufacturer and the coating(s) of the optics.
