Yup It's an awesome weapon for sure, the only bad thing about it is that it has a stainless steel barrel..
Under some hunting conditions those barrels give off a lot of glare.
It's just my opinion but I think Stainless steel barrels are the worse types to use for most hunting conditions, they are COOL but it isn't the best choice for a hunting Rifle.

Yeah I guess I could just tape it up with camo or simply buy it Blued right from the start and not have to ever deal with Stainless Steel issues....

With regards to hunting, Can you think of just 1 reason to buy a stainless steel barreled weapon?

Me either!

A guy I use to hunt with had a greyhawk. I could find him any where and it was easy to see him move through the woods with that thing. That being said I do have a couple that are stainless, one is that Savage long range heavy fluted barrel so its a sit and shoot long range. Thought about painting the whole gun with that paint that's made for such.

Guys, I resisted buying a stainless for years. But I love the one I got last season. It's a Tikka and it has a matte finish - NO glare. I also noticed that the new Ruger Hawkeye is different from their original stainless which was like a mirror!
