I think the 150's are almost as good as a car nowdays as far as the ride. I have 2 3/4 ton fords. The ride is a bit more rough. One is a diesel, I love it. They say the chip is the way to go. I have an appointment to get one installed next week. I have plenty of power as it is but the gas milage is a killer. Get ready on those oil changes, mine takes 15 qts of oil, I freaked the first time :shocking:

HM, you have a Chevy (may God forgive you for that!) and I have a Ford, but the principal should be the same. The weight of that motor is extremely heavy, which in comparrison makes the back end really light. Thus the rough ride. I keep 70 psi in my tires and I haul alot of heavy stuff plus pull a trailor occasionally. You should have tires on that thing with a load range "E" which is a tougher tire than normal. Actually if my tires get below 65 psi, the "low tire pressure" alarm goes off. The ride is ok empty but gets better with weight in the backend. These things perform best under load. Sweet rigs tho.
