The new generation rifle scopes from Redfield..
The easy way to say it is they are now a division of Leopold. They have the same life time warrantee as you get with a Leopold. Are they better? In my opiinion I like the new Redfield models better than the Leopold rifleman series. Would I pick a Redfield over a vari-x 2 NO. Or a vari-x 3 absolutely NO. It makes sense though, the Redfields are 150-200 dollars and are a great buy in that price range. They compare nicely with the Nikons at the same price point. The vari-x 2s and 3s are another 100 to 200 dollars more and you do get something for the extra money you spend. I own several Leopold vx-3s a Zeiss and a Nikon. I do not hesitate recommending the new Redfield scopes.
