the best advice would be try to stay scent free with the wind in your face, watch the wind at all times, stay quiet and keep the movements to a minimum.feel free to ask any questions ya want.Congrats on taking up deer hunting it really gets in your blood:ibtl:
aGREE WITH THE SIGNMAN... eVEN BEFORE CAMMO AND ALL THE HIGH TECH STUFF, LOTS OF DEER WERE TAKEN!!! STAYING STILL AND QUIET, AND NOT MAKING ABRUPT MOVEMENTS IS THE BEST ADVICE!! aLSO, IF YOU SEE A DEER COMING, ASSUME HE CAN SEE YOU TOO... ONLY MOVE WHEN HIS IS OBSTRUCTED BY A BUSH OR TREE. OTHERWISE YOU'LL GET BUSTED RAISING YOUR GUN UP.
PS: AFTER THE SHOT, WATCH CAREFULLY WHERE HE RUNS, WAIT A BIT, THEN FOLLOW CAREFULLY...ASSUME HE IS STILL ALIVE AND ABLE TO RUN 'TILL YOU ARE DRESSING HIM OUT.
