Hey everyone. Just thought I'd say hello and apologize if I don't know what I'm talking about here, haha. I'm new to hunting (sort of), so I've been researching all I can and trying to find resources to ask questions and this looks the best so far.
I'm 19 years old, and I live in Kentucky, with my mother and my father, who has been an avid hunter and trapper his whole life. I was always a computer-geek, so never took up his passions until now. It's Muzzleloader Season for two days and thought I'd give it a shot. I haven't seen anything besides squirrels yet, but hopefully I'll have better luck in a few hours. Even though I haven't seen a deer, I've fallen in love with being out in the woods, watching the wild-life, not worrying about anything and just having patience for one to come by. Disconnecting from the world in the blind and becoming part of the woods is great.
I have been hunting before with my dad, but I never took such a fondness to it as I have now.
So, I may ask questions to some of you experienced hunters here, but I'll try to search the forums for the answers before I ask anything. I'll post my experiences as you all have, hopefully I can get the hang of all this

As I said, I'm a computer geek. So that's about all I can offer you guys. If you have any computer trouble or questions feel free to ask me. I worked in a PC repair shop and have been customizing, repairing, building, overall using computers my whole life. I have knowledge with all Windows versions, Mac OS, Unix, and Linux. Also pretty good at networking.

But, just thought I'd say hello. Forum looks awesome, I'm glad I found this place!
