Set up a blind in the perfect spot. Acorns everywhere and been seeing deer on my cam sometimes 5-6 in a single pic and a few nice bucks. But Im using a damn howitzer and its hard to set up for a shot without spooking them.
Im using my Benelli Nova with a 28" barrel I use for Ducks,Geese, and Turkeys. Also it shoots roadflares (3.5s) which is probably overkill since Im just trying to kill does now and also nothing is further away than 15 yards. When I sit in the blind with it across my lap theres no more than 6" on either side of the gun its just too damn big.
Is there a nice smaller 12 gauge that would work nicely for blind hunting?
