Well season here started Thursday & this seems to be the best start I have ever had although I have not harvested any thing yet I have seen more deer then ever & had a missed opportunity on the 11 pointer I was chasing last year was 30 yards never saw the headgear till it was to late we cant shoot doe till Oct 1st so I needed to see the rack before I could shoot even though I knew it was way to big of a body to be a doe
well thats how it goes but at least I got him tracked down! at least for now

Well you've done more than I have... Unfortunately, we have an EXTREMELY collic baby at home and every waking second she's awake she's SCREAMING her head off (except when she's eating).


Haven't even been out yet... did check my trail cams and got some decent young bucks on there.. I'll post them in the pictures folder!

well I would have taken him even at 40 yards
just did the right thing & did not shoot even though I knew it was a buck
but just could not see his head to have that last 1% to be 100% positive
I did see him again last night on an edge of a swamp feeding but he was well over 300 yards got dark before he started his way towards me
so he is still in the area will try again tonight

You need to get that baby's spine checked. Find a good chiropractor in your area and have him/her check your baby. It is perfectly safe for babies and most of the babies I have seen with colic symptoms have dramatic results. If you want a low force technique check Chiropractor | Chiropractic Seminars | Chiropractic Instruments | Activator Methods to find a chiropractor who uses an adjusting instrument to correct problems. This is what I use in my office, and I have adjusted newborns without them even waking up! I would suggest at least looking into it. I have had parents say chiropractic changed their lives just by helping out baby. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask them here or by pm. I would be glad to give you all the info you need.

well Tator if you weren't haning out at the truck stop trying to get that 15 minutes of fame you could be out in the woods J/K hope the little one is doing ok

well saw Evander 11 pointer ( named him due to a chunk missing out of his ear) again unfortunately for me he was 400 yards away across an old swamp no way to get closer to him. Watched him for 20 minutes bedding down / eating the bushes then just walked away the opposite direction
I feel I am getting close to flinging an arrow at him & hope to get that chance before rifle season as the woods I am in gets a lot of pressure during that time

well our archery Doe season finally opened Sat. we hunted a new area for the evening Sat. & again Sun morning. I have never seen so many deer in one small area in this state before. I passed on one & had a shot on one nice one but my ailing shoulder locked up & could not draw my bow past the breaking point. I had to laugh as this buck was 30 yards away (laughing at me I think) watching me trying to draw my bow at him about 10x within 2-3 minutes. when my shoulder finally popped & I drew back he had just waked off but right to my bro-inlaw (he missed 32 yards) guess we all were just amazed at all the deer that we got a little buck fever
but I have never been so excited to hunt NH as much as I am now
just hope one of the 4 of us can put one down

Oh yeah had a ton of fun was a little upset my shoulder locked up but really couldn't help but laugh about it

Well one down 2 to go took a doe at 30 yards 1/4ing away & Rage again did it's job no issues like people post about the Rage sliced through 2 ribs took out the liver & a clean pass threw she went 30 yards & dropped
Now time to hunt the big boy
