I'm sure it'll taste fine.

In any case, you took out a spike, and that's always good.
I have shot 120 lb deer but they were does there is no shame in shooting a small buck.

Congratulations Savageshooter !!! That's a GREAT DEER why think otherwise?

And Yes I'd bet it's going to be nice and Tasty..

I think too many Hunters are getting wrong Impressions by the Hunting shows on TV and the Hunting DVD's on the market.... Most of them Hunts take place on Farms/Ranches where the animals are fenced in and most likely Fed daily.

When you get a Deer on Open land That's a HUNT and don't let anyone try and tell ya different.. I hope you got some pics to show us :photo:
Yeah those show give people the idea that big buck live behind every tree.
sorry, no pics.. the only pictures we got were on cameras that are uncompatable with the computer. Thanks for the support everybody, its people like you that make hunting what it is. people around here are to stuck on big antlers and a head to put over there beds than the actual sport of the hunt. theres a difference between blasting a buck from 500 yards away with a jacked up magnum and a 350$ scope and being out in the woods, trying to stay quiet and sneaking up on a deer.

good luck to everyone out there!
well said by all!!! it is the average hunter that i have the most respect for. shoot whatever kind of deer you want too. if its a trophy to you, thats all that matters. if you decide to take only big bucks and like the challenge of it thats great too. its up to the person hunting to decide what they want to shoot. ill never complain about someone shooting a small deer. (unless your on a lease thats has rules that state otherwise) im a firm believer that if you join a lease then play by the rules.
any deer you get is a trophy to you.i said it befor ill say it again"YOU CANT EAT ANTLERS" congrats on the buck.smaller is better eating
