I just read in the local newspaper that Defenders of Wildlife have brought a suit against the state of Wyoming to stop wolf hunting. Also, they have encouraged so many people to write emails to the governor's office about this subject, that the whole process of responding to ALL emails has just about been shut down. Personally, I'm glad wolves have been brought back, but don't think they are any more special than any other wildlife. In view of how they have increased their numbers faster and much more than anyone ever imagined, their numbers definitely need to be controlled.
Anyway, my question is this: Is there any way we as hunters can legally screw up Defenders of Wildlife (not that they aren't already screwed up) so that THEIR emails and computers crash because of an overload of mail - like what they have done to the state of Wyoming? For example, what if everyone in the NRA and every other pro hunting/shooting sport association were to write emails to the Defenders headquarters, could that hurt them? The point is I would sure like to use their own tactics against them. I'm getting tired of them spreading false info about hunters, applying for scarce tags and not using them (perfectly legal, mind you) just to prevent hunters from getting them and all their other (legal) methods of hurting us. Seems to me we could turn the tables on them. Any other ideas? PLEASE KEEP THEM CIVIL - even though you may think they don't deserve it.
