Thanks, Hunting Manreally nice work! I assume the products used don't gravity feed all over ground due to the square channel tubes. I used a timed spinner that worked good. Son has it in S. Ohio now. Again nice quality work!
I did. If you look closely where the legs meet the skids there is a opening. Not having a pipe bender I had to make a cut and remove material. This is what I didn't think thru. Making 1 straight cut and 1 45deg cut removing material and bending. The angle cut edge overlaps the straight edge. if that makes since. So instead of making an ugly mess out of it just left it at that.very nice feeders would suggest capping the ends of the base so they won't get filled w/ rain snow or dirt if you haven't already thought of that
I've never used a plasma cutter. Interested in them. Talked with my brother who has one and he says it's difficult to see what your doing around the tip. Probably not correct tip.gotcha again looks really good
I am thinking of making some myself want to play w/ the new plasma cutters & welder
Yeah, up to 1/2" would be plenty.Maybe also should use dark glasses or welding mask with a lighter tint
it would cut your cutting time in at least half. If you are not going to do a ton of cutting I would look into one that has an on board compressor. one of mine has this & will cut nice up to 1/2"
