Well here I sit, last weekend of bowseason and we have winds from the South. My lock-on situated on the parcel near the house is useless with southerly winds and I knew it when I put it up. I may venture across the creek with my climber and find a tree suitable for a south wind this evening but will more than likely honey-do today and wait till tomorrow morning since winds are shifting Northerly tonight. This is my first year in there and my nearest other hunting spot is 100 miles away, which Im hitting next weekend for the muzzleloader opening day. I have gotten 1 doe this year with the bow and only average 3 per year so Im still ok but already out of deer jerky. I can ride my bike to this neighborhood strip of woods and will be peddaling before sunup tomorrow.

no reason to be bummed at all, you got one doe already and got to spend some time with Gods great creatures and mother nature.
Sounds like a great time to me...
