KNIGHT RIFLES HAS NEW OWNERSHIP.

Athens, TN: On March 15, 2010, PI, Inc., acquired the Knight Rifles brand, intellectual properties and real estate in Centerville, Iowa. For the immediate future, Knight Rifles will be relocated to Athens, TN, where PI, Inc., is headquartered.
PI, Inc., President Jeff Beene says, "We hope to make this a seamless transition for all the loyal Knight Rifles customers. It will take us a few days to get all of the Knight Rifles goods moved to our facility, but we hope to be shipping orders next week."
Several members of the PI, Inc., management team have been loyal Knight Rifles owners in the past and that spurred the interest in purchasing the brand when Knight Rifles ceased gun production in July 2009. Beene stated, "I'm very impressed with my personal Knight Rifles and want to breathe new life into this brand that started the muzzle loading world as we know it today."
The immediate plans are to continue the excellent customer service for which Knight has always been known. Warranty for all rifles except the KP1 and Revolution (I and II) will still be handled in the Knight Rifles warranty center in Centerville, Iowa. The KP1 and Revolutions will be serviced from the Pradco Outdoor Brands Decatur, Alabama, Facility.
President Jeff Beene does want muzzle loader hunters to know that the long term plan for Knight Rifles is to return to its roots and once again manufacture the best inline muzzle loaders on the market.

Good news.. Figured they would have someone purchase that company sometime.. Kinda suprised by the company that purchased though. PI Inc. Appears to me a local type injection mold company. Figured another hunting type company would have jumped on Knight.

I just got off the phone on their service center and ordered new parts for the disc extreme rifle. Excellant service person and parts were in stock! I'm converting the plastic primer holder to alll metal and eliminating the plastic disc. Needed the breech tool and they had that too.
Hunting Man,
I didn't know you could do that, is there a kit and who did you order from.
I have an early disc rifle in the closet and might give that a try.

Got the parts yesterday from Knight and all fit perfectly. The disc rifle now shoots 209 primers without the need for the plastic holder. The tolerances are too tight for Remington primers but CCI's fit ok. The plan is to hit the range tomorrow to sight in three in-lines. The Fire Hawk now has a new scope on it, 3X9X40 Tasco world class. The Knight is wearing an older Redfield 2X7X32, the TC Triumph has a Leupold 3X9X40 Rifleman series. Son wants to shoot 777 powder in the Firehawk, me I'll set the Triumph and Knight up with Black Horn powder.
Huntingman let us know how the Blackhorn works for you. I shoot it and it seems to work well.
Thanks,

Knight now has released their ML lineup for 2011. Glad to see them back in the game.

Here are the ML's in their lineup for this year.

Mountaineer, DISC Extreme, Bighorn, Littlehorn, TK2000, Long Range Hunter
Glad their back. I have one of their disc extreme models and it shoots really good groups.
I wonder if they will still sell their KP1 rifle....I love mine!
