It wasn't coinsidence that the founding fathers were highly concerned with personal freedoms and that the loss of those freedoms would result in tyranny. Many Americans believe FDR was a great president, if you look at history closely, FDR belived only government could solve the nation's woes. The government controlled wages of mass workers, enslaved true Americans to mass concentration camps, rationed vertually every comodity in the marketplace. Right now government is in exactly the position the founding fathers feared, massive federal government controlling the people it was sworn to serve. Term limits would be a good start to removing greed, coruption, and self serving politictions. Unfortunately, I really don't see the silver lining on the horizon, I see a Nation imploding from with-in. I look at the declining morals, increasing crime, gangs, single parents increasing tenfold, excessive government spending/taxes and I think maybe its a good thing I can still remember right from wrong, good from bad, manners, responsibility, integrity, and yes honesty. These were taught in school, at home and at work. I don't see much of this anymore. Sorry to add my venting everyone but I like many here sense a terrible time ahead. sorry about the spelling.
