in the rain

the other day it was raining and I was going to post up about hunting in the rain. Wanted to know how deer movement was and whatnot, but i decided to go sit in the rain instead. That night the deer came out two hours earlier than normal because (i think) it was cooler. Deer movement was great in the rain. Never had much success but i was just in amazement.

I think that the key word here was "cooler" meaning temps drop and kick em in gear a little earlier.
i read that a little drizzle doesn't slow deer movement and can even speed it up because deer feel that they need to get out and eat as much as they can before they have to bed down when it really starts to rain, also with the low light levels lasting longer in the morning and coming earlier in the evening, deer move later and earlier during the day.
