friend called last nite from gettysburg pa where a game warden was murdered last nite.i guess the warden seen a car jack lighting and observed them shooting.he got the suspect in one cuff and apparently the guy opened fire with a 45 on the officer, they later caught the guy.Was just thinking maybe we could keep this officer(he was 31)in our prayers. He was protecting what we all love to do.

I can think of only one outcome for this incident, lethal injection. It doesn't return anything to the officer's family, but maybe a bit of community justice would be served. I hate a murderer/thief, nothing in life is lower.
you guys can google this tragedy but what i like over democratic ny is the d.a. already said he is seeking the death penalty.the guy was a convicted felon and knew having a firearm he was automatically goin back.my opinion these game wardens when approaching multiple suspects should be armed with an ar type of rifle not a sidearm.everybody down on the ground until back up comes.sad part is he called back up and they arrived 2 mins later but it was too late
Hang em!!!! Spiker your title says it all. Idiots!!!!!! People who commit crimes like that should be given the sentence the same way that they commited the crime. In thi case he should be shot the same way with the same gun. Goes around comes around. Sounds harsh but I hate that kind of stuff.

a murderer is definalty one of the lowest forms of scum. but the lowest form of scum is a pedifile. other than that i agree with everyone hear. put this scum to death.

Sorry HM I don't agree

Lethal Injection is to fast & easy
They should High fence (Electric) about 50 acres & hunt his sorry backside at night using about 1 billion candlepower spots & bows or even better a spear

This would help our justice system and free up space in our prisons. Why dont you run for office?

I would even volunteer my time to be a hunter for the pedifiles.
let's all keep that warden's family in our prayers....
Idiots for certain

Its ridiculous that these guys would soon suffer hell, than a fine.
Not trying to take the shooters' side, but I'm sure they are regreting what they did. That is unless they aren't in their right mind. We've all done things that we regret and look back on now as being really "stupid". Granted, I'm guessing none of us have killed a person before though... Like I said, we need to keep the game warden's family in our prayers and the shooters' families. We all have a crazy uncle, cousin, step-dad, etc... that we get embarassed by every now and then. This is just alot more serious for these families. I'm also praying for the shooter b/c they obvious need Christ in their lives because they aren't abiding by laws set forth for everyone's protection and it ended up getting caught and then doing somethign they will have to live with for the rest of their lives. Once again, I'm not taking the side of the shooters, I'm just saying that they need our prayers for their salvation because obviously they dont' have any.

Tator with all do respect to your faith i couldnt waste an one ounce of my time praying for him.Eye for an eye and he should burn in hell for his actions. This was no teenage mistake like stealing a car, this was cold blooded murder by a convicted felon.he killed bcause he didnt want to go back to jail.Me personally i hope his life is hell till they kill em.Again this is my opinion and i respect your faith.
Pennsylvania Game Commission Wildlife Conservation Officer (WCO) David L. Grove was shot and killed in the line of duty while on patrol around 10:30 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 11), along Shrivers Road in Freedom Township, Adams County. Grove, age 31, of Fairfield, Adams County, was investigating reports of ongoing night-time shooting and possible poaching activity in the area.

this is the type of story nobody should ever have to hear.

My condolences to the family and friends of David L. Grove

So sad, I'll keep his family in my prayers.

10 lb bows with blunt tips till the job is done.
I just think that anyone who commits a crime should suffer. Not say small crimes (ex. cheating on a test) should be exactly coppied to punish the person. in this instance the f***er who did this should be shot multiple times b4 killed. thats just my opinion.
A great point. We are all Gods children. Does not the Bible teach us to those that are farthest from the Lord deserve our prayers even more. Don't recall the exact location and verse but will keep studying till I do but doesn't a man that receive the Lord last get the same as the man that received the Lord first. We all have a chance to make a change! Thank you for looking at both sides.
I agree o514jc... however, God does hold us accountable for our actions while we are alive on Earth. Every sin, however, can be forgiven. Even murder. The Bible teaches that all sin is bad, and God doesn't rank sin. In God's eyes, every sin is just SIN. In our eyes, as humans, we rank murder as the ultimate sin because you are taking someone's life away and taking a loved one away from a family.
All I'm saying is this guy needs our prayers. We need to lift him up because obviously he made a mistake and I can only hope he has asked for forgiveness. My First instinct when I heard this was "That guy should be put to death" just like alot of you all on here said. If that's justice, then so be it. The ultimate judge is God and It's not our place to judge another person.
I am and have been praying for all involved and affected by this incident. They ALL need our prayers.

I agree with ya tator. If you look in the Bible there are dozens of verses that say don't judge others. James 4:11-12 says "Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. 12 There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?" Luke 6:37 says “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; I'm not picking on anybody here okay, but I guess if you don't want others to judge you for what you did wrong (No matter how big or little) you shouldn't judge the guy here. Let God judge.
