I have been out in some high winds in the last 2 weeks and not seen a thing unless I've been in the tree stand. The wild life is still if it's windy[in my woods] so I perfer the outside bushline so you'll see it coming threw the field. That's how I got my doe last week. It was windy enough to be shaking my blind so I switched to the stand and within an hour they were under me.
I was using doe pee[hunter's special]
According to all the reports and studies I've ever read about relating to Deer in windy conditions, the conclusion was,
The higher the wind the less deer move. I can't recall ever seeing a Deer if there were strong winds.
