i hunt almost all the time alone.before i leave i leave a detailed map of where i plan on going.i carry a cell phone in my pocket not my backpack I carry water and food and a gps with extra batteries and a 2 flashlights ;one hand held and one headlamp.I prefer to be alone:ranting:

I Usually Take My Wife With Me But Where I Hunt We Have Some Blinds Set Up Like That We Know For Sure We Are Not Hunting Next To Each Other!
